The Museum Moto Guzzi is a nice museum for those who have a passion for motorcycles and engines.

It takes you through the different stages of history of the development of engines and motorcycles displaying vehicles from different periods. You can visit anytime and it is free-of-charge. It is located in Mandello del Lario.

The Moto Guzzi factory was built in 1921 – and looks as if it was. The Piaggio Group, who now own the Moto Guzzi brand, are starting to re-build the site as Guzzi production ramps up but the iron framed windows, carrying over 90 years of paint, bear testimony that this is an authentically historic building.

The Moto Guzzi Museum brings together a rich collection of over 150 pieces between its exhibition series motorcycles, sport bikes, prototypes and experimental engines, which alternate in a temporal path to witness the glorious history of a timeless myth know in Italy and all over the world. The path runs through the most original, glorious and popular creations that have made the history of the Mandello Brand on the market and in international speed competitions.

It will take guests through various periods of history and illustrate the development of engines and motorcycles by displaying vehicles from different epochs. Admission is free-of-charge and its location makes it an easy stop-off while touring through the various villages on the lake. The exhibition dedicated to the racing bike unravels between the various prototypes that have written the pages of sports myth of Mandello del Lario. The museum exhibition section “The Sound of Passion”, where the most interesting films in the history of Moto Guzzi are screened, completes the visit
